The Purse Is Complete







I finished my sister's purse just in time for her visit. I hope she likes it. The brown purse if one that I made last Fall. I saw it in the closet and thought that it might like to have its picture taken.

How knitting has left it's mark on my life? When I was pregnant with my first child, I knitted a pair of booties and a bonnet to match. Then I got lost. I haven't knitted for almost 30 years. I started missing it, dreaming of knitting about 3 weeks ago. I have one ball of yarn LOL, and one pair of needles. I started looking online and joined this list. Then I got a book that had a chapter about knitting in it (the book was NOT about knitting). I think that knitting is calling me, calling me back to who I really am. With my first stitch cast on (currently making a scarf) I felt my soul settle.
